My name is Maggie Shafer. At least since the last week of August 2010.
I am a 25-year-old journalist in Fort Collins, Colorado and a married woman, two years deep.
Which still sounds weird.
I used to think that when I became a wife, I would be cultured, mature, professional, and successful. I would absorb cleaning and ironing skills, and start wearing pants with a much higher waist line. And stop eating candy in the morning and laughing at potty jokes.
According to these standards, I may be a little behind.
Watch and learn with me as this small woman attempts to grow into this big role. As I make a home, start a life and love a man.
I can promise there will be better and there will be worse but in the end we’ll make it and you can read how. And the worse will be better with a few potty jokes.
Don’t say I didn’t warn you.
